More 'Freaky' Details Are Emerging About A UFO That Shocked The US Navy In 2004

Warzone/The Drive: Detailed Official Report On Harrowing Encounter Between F/A-18s and UFO Surfaces

The paper recounts a course of bizarre events that occurred near the USS Nimitz while it was sailing off the Baja Peninsula in November 2004.

Even though the 2004 encounter between an unidentified flying object nicknamed the 'Tic Tac' and U.S. Navy Hornets made headline news last Winter via its associated with a secretive Pentagon program to investigate UFO encounters, and possibly much more, the story had been talked about in detail among military aviation circles for years. But now we have an official report that came out of the aforementioned Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP) that makes a number of conclusions based on its findings. Above all else, it offers far more granular detail about the now historic incident than what had previously been released.

Update #1: US aircraft carrier was stalked for days by a UFO travelling at 'ballistic missile speed' which could hover above the sea for six days, leaked Pentagon report reveals (Daily Mail)
Update #2: The Pentagon Released New Documents About the 'Tic-Tac UFO' (MotherBoard)
Update #3: New report reveals even more freaky details about the UFO that shocked the US Navy (BGR)

WNU Editor: The full report is here. The six key points in its conclusion (and they are jaw dropping) are below ....

(1) The 'Anomalous Aerial Vehicle' was of unknown origin and represented technology not currently in the possession of the U.S. or any other nation.
(2) It featured broadband RF stealth making the use of radar against it largely ineffective.
(3) The craft manifested extreme performance but did not have lifting structures or control surfaces required for traditional flight.
(4) It showed that it has some kind of advanced propulsion capability making it able to go instantly from hovering to very high speed and to make very abrupt course changes.
(5) It was able to 'cloak' itself, becoming invisible visually to the naked eye.
(6( Possibly capable of operating undersea without being detected by the most advanced sub-surface sensors.

3 possible explanations.
1.They're lying in order to cover up some secret projects so next time someone sees an unusual craft they're gonna go 'Aliens' and not secret Navy/Air force plane.
2.Actual aliens because no craft on Earth can do such stuff not even close.Which is actually kind of scary if you think about it.
3.Some weird meteorological phenomenon that hasn't been explained properly.

We’ll finally get the technology to destroy them. Only to find they were moderating weather on the planet to keep it within live able ranges. There’s someone’s next movie plot.

Since we have discovered planets many light years away, in fact in some cases analyzed atmospheres it’s no stretch to conclude we have been observed too. Perhaps by a surpassing technological society we are constantly observed in great detail.

But who knows?

I’ve spent a lot of my life out on the ocean in this stretch of water, can’t say I’ve ever seen anything out of the ordinary other than close encounters with the navy. The only thing I can add, there is a offshore bank called the Cortez bank that’s about 90 miles outside of San Diego, and at low tide “Bishop rock” can just barley get out of the water...major navigation hazard (just ask the navy), but might be an explanation to this submerged craft.

lafiv Iv,
Yeah. I think if they do exist, then whatever our relationship to them in the evolutionary chain will dictate most everything in any kind of relationship. Many questions arise such as:
How do they actually communicate?
How can we see/sense them?
If they have a code of ethics/behavior is it anything like ours?
We assume a lot of things, but have no way of knowing that any of it is true. This does not mean we shouldn't try, we should always.
In a round about way I think I'm trying to say that even if they exist we still don't know the right questions to even ask.

"It could be a UAV with fligt/propulsion technology that we don't have that someone else does..." while we cannot "know" for certain, this would be my take on this. My first thought would be the Russians but it could be someone else. I suspect they along with at,least several other nations and perhaps more have technologies we don't have.

BP,
It might be. I don't agree that much with you on the tech thingy. Other countries may have more (which I doubt), but I think we are still way ahead on the implementation of the tech.

Remember this happened back in 2004 when Russia was friendly and broke and China was way behind in military tech.

Anon (3rd to last post),

Very respectfulky the US has spent much money, time, and resources on the dead end F-35 as well as significant money and resources fighting fruitless wars in areas that not onky don't advance American interests but actually undermine them. Others have allocated resources in ways that actually make sense.

Such misallocation of resources for America goes back many decades. Then we have the disturbing tendency of US officials to overestimate our capabilities while underestimating those of adversaries and potential adversaries. As such, I think it a reasonable theory that a number of our adversaries and potential adversaries have military technology that is superior to ours and, in many cases, vastly superior.

While the extra terrestrial alien theory is valid, this is an extraordinary claim, Such claims require extraordinary proof which seems lacking.

Some type of US military test craft is plausible as was suggested with the claim of "aliens" to throw people off, however, given the propensity of US officials to "leak" this seems unlikely.

As such, a superior technology by an adversary or potential adversary seems the proper conclusion.

Now via a careful analysis having reached the conclusion that this is military technology possessed by a terrestrial power that is superior to our own we should ask the following questions. Which country owns it? Has it been perfected? Can it be mass produced in sufficient numbers? Are all of the "bugs" worked out?

As to country of origin, I'd think most likely Russia or China but it could be someone else. As we obviously have no way to counter it and to use a math analogy we have barely mastered simple addition and subtraction when compared to this thing that is the equivalent of advanced calculus, until definitively proven otherwise we must assume the answers to questions 2 to 4 are "yes." This means there is a country on earth we have no hope of beating in a conventional war should they choose to deploy this technology.

This explodes the myth of an American "superpower" or even more ridiculous "hyperpower" myth. This needs to be investigated thoroughly with the American people being kept fully in the loop every step of the way. After all we are involved in multiple military operations around the world and there's a country out there possessing military technology far superior to ours. We don't know who they are. The American people have a right to know all of this.

Unfortunately there are many in US leadership who are heavily invested in the American superpower myth. Humans don't like having their ideologies challenged. As such, getting the proper investigation done is going to be problematic.
