My sister is 4 miles from the flow in Pahoa, she's been evacuated. Interestingly she say the most unsettling part of the whole ordeal has been the large earthquakes that hit last week. I guess the lava flow is pretty common place in that area and the locals know to get the heck out of the way when it shows itself, and hope it doesn't come through your house or property.
