President Donald Trump went after former Obama CIA Director John Brenna, calling him the 'genesis' of the Russia probe and saying he 'disgraced himself.'
The attack came after has spent weeks sharpening his own criticism of Trump – including calling Trump's latest demand for a Justice Department investigation of the FBI over its Russia probe a 'disastrous path' for the president.
'This guy is the genesis of this whole Debacle,' Trump vented Monday morning, after he demanded the Justice Department probe whether the FBI 'infiltrated or surveilled the Trump campaign.'

It is out of character for John Brennan to respond like this .... even warning/threatening Senator McConnell and Speaker Ryan. I think the New York Times and the Washington Post shocked everyone when they revealed last week that there was an FBI informer/mole/spy in the Trump campaign .... New York Times Reveals How U.S. Intelligence And The Justice Department Targeted And Spied On The Trump Campaign During The Election Campaign (May 17, 2018). Even identifying the informer/spy the next day .... FBI's Trump campaign 'spy' earned nickname 'the walrus' as he strode through academic and intel circles – and grew 'frustrated' when Trump foreign policy adviser said he didn't know about hacked Clinton emails(Daily Mail). I know when I first heard that there was a spy in the Trump campaign .... I said on this blog that if true this is the biggest scandal in my lifetime (see link here). And not surprising .... after this revelation .... the damage control that has kicked into gear to rationalize why the FBI spy/informer Stefan Halper was used has been quite a sight to see .... Press: Why Trump should thank FBI (Bill Press, The Hill). But it is too late .... there is going to be an investigation.
On a side note. I am willing to bet that the people who handled this informer/spy never thought that this story would hit the main stream media one day. And right now .... I am sure that they are petrified that their names and the role that they played in this operation is going to be revealed (as it should).
