CBS News: Trump to announce decision on Iran nuclear deal on Tuesday
President Trump announced on twitter Monday that he would making his decision on the U.S.' stance on the Iran nuclear deal Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the White House.
His decision comes just days before a May 12 deadline for the U.S. to formally decide if they are withdrawing from the Obama-era nuclear pact.
Mr. Trump has long indicated his frustration with the deal, which he sees as unfair and unable to quash Iran's nuclear aspirations. He slammed the deal as recent as Monday morning, calling it "very badly negotiated" and blamed former Secretary of State John Kerry, who was instrumental in negotiating with Iran during the Obama administration, for "creating this mess in the first place"

Thank you John Kerry for helping Trump make up his mind. Take a bow Chancellor Merkel and Marcon for participating in yet more #Resistance operations against Trump.
Why Trump would give them the time of day after this is a question I have.
and so, anon, treaty broken and now? Iran has the go ahead to make nukes...get a shelter for your little head...every one involved in the treaty inspection, overseeing this, has come out in favor of keeping this treaty.
Anon, if you think Iran was keeping its promises, you inhabit a world of Peter Pans. Dream on.
I agree, yep make military bases off limits for inspections Kerry was a special kind of stupid.
fazman,

Unless we have access to inside information in real time, we cannot "know" what is happening. The editor sometimes discusses what his "gut" tells him.
There are a number of aspects of this treaty that don't look good, such as an alleged lack of inspections of military bases and, as I understand it, Americans aren't allowed to be part of the inspection teams. This means we would have to depend upon the UK, France, Germany, Russia, and China to ensure Iranian compliance.
My "gut" tells me Iran "death to America" is not complying with the terms of the treaty. My "gut" also tells me that the UK, France, Germany, Russia, and China cannot be trusted to ensure Iranian compliance. The UK, France, and Germany view America as a "strategic competitor" and would view an unfortunate happening to America as a good thing. Russia and China are generally enemies of America. Perhaps in the case of China this is changing as they have helped us on North Korea. In any event, help from either of them is unlikely.
To stay with this flawed deal or to abandon it? It seems like we are stuck with two bad choices. I think the case could be made to stick with it as the alternative might be worse. In DJT we have as POTUS a master negotiator and deal maker. As such, I would be inclined to trust his judgement however he chooses. This trust could be misplaced. If there's anything we should have learned over the 18 years or so is US leaders aren't exactly trustworthy.
