Reports: North Korea To Release Three U.S. Citizens At The Trump-Kim Summit

Business Insider: North Korea reportedly hands Trump another big win by releasing US prisoners

* North Korea has released three US citizens detained there, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing a South Korean activist.
* The three Americans — Kim Dong-chul, Kim Sang-duk, and Kim Hak-song — were released from a labor camp and given health treatment and ideological education in Pyongyang, the report said.
* President Donald Trump's hawkish national security adviser, John Bolton, has called for the Americans' release as a way for North Korea to demonstrate its sincerity ahead of a summit with the US.

North Korea has released three US citizens detained there, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing a South Korean activist who campaigns for the release of detainees.

The releases would meet some of the US's demands for North Korea to demonstrate sincerity before a historic meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un — something that John Bolton, Trump's hawkish national security adviser, reiterated during an interview on Fox News on Sunday.

Update #2: Three Americans detained in North Korea have been moved and may be RELEASED to mark the historic summit between Kim Jong-un and President Trump next month (Daily Mail).

WNU Editor: Apparently these U.S. prisoners have already been released, and according to the Financial Times are now living in a hotel until the summit. If so .... it is a positive development .... even though I suspect the U.S. made it very clear that this was one of their conditions for this summit. No release of U.S. citizens .... no summit.

Please let them be in relatively good health and state of mind.. cannot imagine being imprisoned in North Korea for years and sometimes decades.. WOW... these people need a welcome home party and social help big time
