Reuters: Trump to reveal Iran decision, Europeans doubt he will stick with nuclear deal
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump will announce on Tuesday whether he will pull out of the Iran nuclear deal or stay in and work with European allies who have struggled to persuade him that it has halted Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Trump has consistently threatened to pull out of the 2015 agreement because it does not address Iran’s ballistic missile program or its role in wars in Syria and Yemen, and does not permanently prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.
European leaders have warned that a U.S. withdrawal would undo years of work that led to and sustained a landmark deal that has kept nuclear weapons out of Iran’s hands

Should Trump pull out of that wretched deal, cue up the Euro music of "America is turning away from Europe, we must strike out on our own".
"China is a more reliable partner for the EU".
"EU must take control of our destiny".
"China is our future"
etc.
There seems to be everything to gain. Perhaps something to lose. Do away with treaty? Nothing to gain and everything to lose. This is Pascal's wager
I say stop the silliness of the agreement; everyone knows they are cheating. Let the dice roll as it may if only to spur on the inevitable conflict. At least at a minimum we save the Iranians from the tyrants.
Under the deal, Iran said they had no nuclear weapons program, honest because Obama stated there was a fatwa against nukes.
Under the deal, military bases are off limits to inspectors. Seriously.
Under the deal, American nuclear inspectors aren't allowed to inspect sites in Iran.
Yet govt's in the EU insist this deal will keep Iran from having nukes.
They are cynical if nothing else.
Nuclear weapons do not belong in the hands of a religious fundamentalist Middle Eastern nation that hates America, sponsors terrorism, violates its neighbors borders, bombs innocent people, and has even attacked and killed US sailors.
I don't mind Iran having nukes, though. Anything to protect them from those Israeli warmongers.
It wasn't Iran that sank the USS Liberty. Yet Americans champ at the bit to send their sons and daughters to war for Isreal, yet again. I hope the American warhawks enjoy their Iraq 2.0. I hope they enjoy trillions more dollars of war debt, as they sink into another quagmire. I hope their children, the ones sent to fight, don't suffer too badly from PTSD.
We all know who is angry at Trump's withdrawal. German, France, England.
Who is happy about it? This is instructive I think.
Sunni petro states and Jordan, Egypt are rejoicing.
Israel is rejoicing.
This shows the US values their friendship far more the Euro's, the ones most upset with Trump. Foundations of post WWII alliances are shaking.
