South Korean military source says Beijing could send message to Washington and Seoul that it’s got North leader’s back

This summit is a PR stunt. It will produce nothing of substance.
It has clusterf$%k written all over it.

Dude that might be. But I prefer those guys meeting. It's an important first step i avoiding war in which thousands if not more would be killed. Don't you want that? ? So let them try

No doubt. Having a negotiation is preferable to threatening each other with extreme violence.

However, when approached in such a glib manner, the whole thing lacks any depth, any serious intent. It's as if a reality TV star playing at being president is treating the event as TV show. With all the associated production values of a reality TV show, scripts actors, producers, director and dramatic ending designed to get ratings and leave the audience satisfied.

And when the sun rises the next day, nothing happened but at least we were entertained for a few hours.
