Reuters: North Korean, U.S. officials try narrowing differences on eve of Trump-Kim summit
SINGAPORE (Reuters) - U.S. and North Korean officials were in talks in Singapore on Monday in a late bid to narrow differences before their leaders hold an historic summit aimed at finding ways to end a nuclear stand-off on the Korean peninsula.
North Korea’s Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in the tropical city-state on Sunday for the first ever face-to-face meeting by leaders of two countries that have been enemies since the 1950-1953 Korean War.
With gaps remaining over what denuclearization would entail, officials from both sides were trying to push the agenda forward ahead of Tuesday’s summit.
Commenting for the first time on the agenda, North Korea’s state-run KCNA news agency said the two sides would exchange “wide-ranging and profound views” to re-set relations. It heralded the summit as part of a “changed era”.

Yep,and he brought his own toilet even though he doesn't poop lol
If things fall apart or otherwise go badly, I'd expect Trump and his team members to use terms like "maximum pressure." Of course pressure maximum or otherwise can only be applied if the Chinese and the Russians allow it. Nevertheless face would need to be saved so such terms would be used.
So far I'm not seeing this. As such, I think the talks are going well. Much can still go wrong. If it does, other options are available.
The pace of the negotiations doesn't surprise me. America MUST have peace. Concrete progress MUST be made. DJT and his team know this. As such, our side is well prepared and HIGHLY motivated to negotiate in good faith.
Is the other side? If they aren't other options can be considered.
