The Guardian: Putin pushes for end to 'harmful' sanctions during Austria visit
Russian leader evaded MH17 questions during first visit to an EU country since re-election.
Vladimir Putin lobbied for the phasing out of economic sanctions and dodged questions about the shooting down of flight MH17 during his first state visit to an EU member state since being re-elected as Russian president in March.
“Both those who initiate these actions and those such measures that we call sanctions are aimed against find them harmful,” Putin said in Vienna on Tuesday, claiming that European countries were merely “finding it hard to say so”.

His German including the pronunciation is quite good still...old KGB times in Berlin.. and you gotta give it to Putin - he can be charming. I wonder how many opponents he had killed and imprisoned. And how he can still be so untouched by all his crimes. He doesn't look bothered by anything. All those deaths. All that money stolen - billions. He seems so sure of himself, I wonder if we get to see him hunted down like Gaddafi at one point. He too wouldn't believe his time had come. Same with Hussein ..he believed that he wouldn't be hung even until the very day. Well..technically he was right as his head came off.. not that I wish that to Putin...but sooner or later Russians will want justice and there's no way he can bury all his crimes once he's out of office. Sure. .he can perhaps keep influence for several more years for sure and perhaps avoid this end all together. .but Russians have a history of getting rid of people they don't approve of. But then again. .he's just too charming. .he'll likely never be found guilty of anything. Plus he plays the piano and you can't hang someone who plays the piano. ;)
Funny how those who are targeted by US sanctions always say they don't work and they harm all. .but then come crawling for deals. ..North Korea. ..Iran. .Russia. .none of them is doing too well right now,..the north Koreans can't even afford a middle income westerner's hotel stay. .. while the US economy is rocking like it's the 80s .. I mean ffs if Trump is such a moron, maybe we need more morons in office? :)
Kim Jong Un',s net worth is estimated at 5 billion US$. Given the tendency of US officials to underestimate our adversaries and potential adversaries, he's likely much more wealthy than that.
He's not "crawling" for a deal. Both he and FOR the ultimate "dealmaker" know America MUST have a deal to end this conflict once and for all sooner rather than later.
North Korea could try and delay things in the hope that team Mueller will find SOMETHING. Trump has been Vladimir Putin's worst nightmare. His only hope is Bob Mueller!!
