The U.S. Justice Department Inspector General's Report -- A Brief Commentary

The 568 page report by U.S. Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz entitled “A Review of Various Actions by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice in Advance of the 2016 Election” is seen shortly after its release in Washington, U.S. June 14, 2018. WNU Editor: The 568 page IG report is here.

I have been reading the IG report since yesterday. First things first ....I have been watching the main stream media's report on this report, and what I have been reading does not even come close to what the media is saying. My guess is that the media just read the executive summary .... made sure that it fed into their narrative on what the FBI was doing in reference to Hillary Clinton, focused on what was not reported, and moved on. But what the IG report says is anything but that .... in fact it is the exact opposite, and the evidence is illustrated throughout the report. There may be no documentary evidence .... but  the entire IG report is filled with examples of extreme political bias among all the FBI investigators involved against President Trump, while openly talking/texting amongst themselves about their a willingness to sweep under the rug their investigation of Hillary Clinton. The bribes from the media to FBI agents is especially disturbing .... this is corruption and buying influence, and these agents, if they still work in the FBI, should be fired. I do not understand why former FBI counterintelligence chief Peter Strzok is still at his job. He should also be fired .... and immediately. The fact that these biased and prejudiced FBI agents also worked for (and with) the Mueller Counsel now puts that entire investigation to a level where .... quite frankly .... whatever produced will be tainted because the FBI investigators were motivated by their own political biases and desire to stop President Trump. I can go and on and on. I promised a news wrap-up on the IG report for 13:00 EST today .... but there is too much to digest and read. My goal now is to post it either late tonight, or first thing tomorrow morning.

Update #1: I just cannot stop. This report is unbelievable. There is something terribly wrong with the FBI. How and who is going to fix this? FBI Director Wray is promising training sessions on objectivity .... after saying that there is no bias in the FBI. That is not going to solve the problem. What will solve the problem are firings, and where the law was broken .... prosecutions.

Update #2: This is just in .... and no surprise to me .... Paul Manafort is JAILED: Judge cancels Trump aide's house arrest and locks him up over witness tampering allegations while awaiting trial in Mueller probe (Daily Mail). The Mueller Counsel wants to divert attention from the IG report, and how biased and corrupt the agents that they have been using in their investigation are.

Update #3: I think this is why President Trump had his news conference this morning. He needed this report as back-up to condemn the FBI leadership, and the Mueller Counsel on their use of FBI agents who were clearly politically motivated in doing their investigation .... President Trump unloads on Comey, 'scum on top' of FBI a day after damning IG report's release (FOX News).

Update #4: All of this happened under President Obama's watch. Will a reporter have the courage to ask him bluntly where was he when all of this happening. When did he learned about it, and what did he do.

"There is something terribly wrong with the FBI." Yes, it's the ghost of J. Edgar Hoover.

Update #3: "here was [Obama] when all of this happening"? Well as the footnote in Page 89 of the report suggests: Obama was one of 13 people who had a personal e-mail account on the Clinton Server so he was right in the middle of all of it!
