On August 14, 1945, it was announced that Japan had surrendered unconditionally to the Allies, effectively ending World War II. Thank you to all who selflessly served and sacrificed! pic.twitter.com/tuaFNGdyOu— Military Support (@MilitaryEarth) August 15, 2018

Love those plane graveyards.. but they are not open to public, I assume.. would pay entry price to get to stroll around.. but likely not possible due to security (people would climb up on those planes and do all kind of crazy stunts, I know I would) :)
Also, bit unrelated, but as it's been 73 years today since Japan surrendered... glad they did.. and glad we didn't exploit them. Look at Japan now.. freaking power house! Amazing fashion, freaking cool tech, and the food *drools*... same with Germany actually.. hmm maybe starting a war and then surrendering pays off!? *plots an evil scheme to start some war and then surrender* bwahhaa :) just kidding, of course, but man, glad that Japan is doing well, what would the world be without our special Godzilla people? :)
