Reuters: Belgium to sue Google for not blurring images of defense sites

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The Belgian defense ministry will sue Google (GOOGL.O) for not complying with its requests to blur satellite images of sensitive military sites, a ministry spokeswoman said on Friday.

If the Belgians lose they can take active measures.

Why would the Belgians do this? What could you do with good surveillance? Look what is happening next door or in their own country.

Iran is not the only shithead. Saudi is too.

1) But if we deal with Pakistan why not Saudi Arabia?
2) We have allied with enemies before. We allied with the USSR in WW2. After we defeat Iran, we can cool it with Saudi Arabia.

Of course major players already have the assets they need, but why give this for free to dickheads

I would think that militarily advanced regimes such as Russia, China, USA would threaten to, or, actually shoot down the Google satellite(s) if it/they took pictures of their military installations. At minimum I would expect those entities to require Google to provide them with a direct feed.

The liar Bob Huntley speaks out.

The USG can threaten google?

How does that work please tell.

Google pulled out of an AI contract or renewing it with the USG. Given that evidence what proof do you have to the contrary?

You have none. You are a no account with no job.
