Reuters: China outlaws large underground Protestant church in Beijing
BEIJING (Reuters) - Beijing city authorities have banned one of the largest unofficial Protestant churches in the city and confiscated “illegal promotional materials”, amid a deepening crackdown on China’s “underground” churches.
The Zion church had for years operated with relative freedoms, hosting hundreds of worshippers every weekend in an expansive specially renovated hall in north Beijing.
But since April, after they rejected requests from authorities to install closed-circuit television cameras in the building, the church has faced growing pressure from the authorities and has been threatened with eviction.

Communism has a historical inclination of eliminating religion because of its intrinsic reliance on making the people inflicted with it dependent on the State versus their religious community. The Judaea-Christian value system cannot really exist when subordinate to the tyranny of communism and its "values". I am not religious, but I praise this system and appreciate it for enabling the greatest civilization the world has ever seen. Communists attack religion for the historic death and destruction it has caused, while fully engaging in the no true Scotsman fallacy of "communism has never been properly implemented", forgetting it has been responsible for exponentially more death and destruction in its duration than any other ideology in history. It is a cancer and unfortunately its reemerging in Western Civilization on the banner left wing parties preying on emotional fervor and sheer ignorance. Real sad.

Yep, but don't forget, CNN wants your attention solely on Russia collusion and Trump the traitor for the last two years...until of course the evidence proves there was none. ..then they'll want your attention on something other than their epic 2 year long attempt to influence a democratic election outcome.
