Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has verbally resigned to Chief of Staff John Kelly in anticipation of being fired by President Trump, according to a source with direct knowledge. Per a second source with direct knowledge: “He’s expecting to be fired,” so he plans to step down.

Rod Rosenstein is the poison tree and everything he did affecting the political investigation of the Trump admin is now poison fruit.
Rosenstein was biased from the get go, he was deeply involved in the FISA corruptions, the handling of the Steele dossier and the creation of the Mueller investigation.

Fred, I'm named and think Rosenstein resigned so he could keep his retirement as if your fired it might put that in Jeopardy. Rosenstein had no business overseeing the Muller probe as was part of the problem; this is fact now. And I agree with WNU; man should have been fired, why wasn't he; because Dems use intimidation to get what they want at the behest of their Media friends who will give them cover. Sad but true.
