Jerusalem Post: Report: Israel sold $250m. of sophisticated spy systems to Saudi Arabia

These are the most sophisticated systems Israel has ever sold to any Arab country.

Saudi Arabia and Israel held secret meetings which led to an estimated $250-million deal, including the transfer of Israeli espionage technologies to the kingdom, Israeli media reported on Sunday, citing an exclusive report by the United Arab Emirate news website Al-Khaleej.

Some of the spy systems, which are the most sophisticated systems Israel has ever sold to any Arab country, have already been transferred to Saudi Arabia and put into use after a Saudi technical team received training in operating them, the report added.

The exclusive report also revealed that the two countries exchanged strategic military information in the meetings, which were conducted in Washington and London through a European mediator.

Such cooperation would not be the first of its kind between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

This makes perfect sense. It takes a war criminal to know a war criminal.

These two mass-murdering s$%t states are made for each other.

I would say the same thing about the joint enemies of Israel and Saudi Arabia. I'm thinking we're making to much of a big deal about a "journalist" who by all indications appears to be worse than the Saudi government.

Those who would criticize Israel and Saudi Arabia remind me of those who live in glass houses. Such people should not throw stones.

Is Saudi Arabia a "good" country. I would say no but the alternatives are far worse.

Is Israel a "good" country? Definitely a far better bunch than those who incessantly criticize them. Perfect?? No but then no one is. Israel's critics are like the inhabitants of glass houses. For such people to throw stones, is illadvised.

IMHO the responses by Israel and Saudi Arabia especially Israel to the constant existential threats they face has been quite restrained compared to how many others have responded to far less. The critics who live in glass houses should think very carefully.
