President Trump And His Wife Are Confronted By 2,000 People Gathered Close To The Tree Of Life Synagogue Protesting Against Their Presence

Daily Mail: Trumps mourn 11 Pittsburgh synagogue martyrs with candles and roses as more than 2,000 protesters accuse president of fueling anti-Semitism and call for gun control

* President and Melania go to Pittsburgh following gun massacre at Jewish temple
* Congressional leaders from both sides of the aisle declined to fly there on Air Force One with the president
* Gunman killed 11 on Saturday as Jews gathered for Shabbat worship
* President Trump, Melania, Ivanka and Jared Kushner made the trip with Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer
* They lit candles with the rabbi in the synagogue's vestibule because the worship space is still a crime scene
* Then they laid stones and white flowers at each of 11 memorials outside
* More than 2,000 people protested with songs and signs that went far beyond claims Trump is anti-Semitic
* The largest protest was organized by IfNotNow, a group whose goal is to end Israel's Palestinian 'occupation'
* Signs also covered gun control, immigration and other topics
* Trump also visited a hospital where the injured including police are recovering

Donald and Melania Trump arrived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Tuesday to mourn the 11 victims of Saturday's Tree of Life synagogue massacre – dodging protesters without the benefit of congressional leaders to diffuse their anger.

Israel's ambassador to the U.S., Ron Dermer, also made the trip, along with Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner. Both are Orthodox Jews who serve as senior presidential advisers.

The Trumps and Dermer went with Rabbi Jeffrey Myers into the vestibule of the synagogue to light candles in the martyrs' memory. Then they laid stones and white flowers at each of the 11 memorial sites outside.

It's still a free country. The right to assemble is enshrined in the constitution he knows d#$k all about.

Fred. Just relax. Wnu is right. It will and already does backfire. Trump has been a solid partner to Israel and the Jewish community. Just because TV anchors keep repeating this narrative of "dog whistles" doesn't make it true. Obama was loathed by Benjamin because he did nothing for Israel. And what about Farakahn-the jew hater? Why so many events with him and the democratic party? You just nod along and don't think. That's why people call you a parrot

Trump came and paid his respect and talked to the rabbi about security. He didn't pose for cameras, he didn't give a speech, he didn't make it about him. The deranged protesters made it about them and about politics. I watched. I was there. It's just despicable what the left does. And the reason is the constant lies in the media. On CNN there was a lady who claimed that Trump radicalised more people than ISIS. This is the insanity and moral corruption on the left. Anything - and I mean anything is acceptable on cnn. And the parrots nod and repeat it. And once enough parrots blab the same thing it must be true, right? No you freaking parrots, you're being completely brain washed to keep the party that actually did manipulate the election alive. And CNN needs to take responsibility... this is no longer journalism. This network is perhaps the worst now in American history. Hatred. Just pure hatred and outrage actors. No facts. No evidence.

Here is the real Fred...and no...I seldom relax and no, I did not comment on this. But my comment: 1. many people do feel Trump has inflamed issues by his comments...google if you fail to remember these comments.
2. many, on right and on left, feel that the focus should be on those murdered and not on the presence of the president and so they asked him to wait a week before turning up.

Great Post. Sadly, it's the people spouting these lies that don't read enough; like this Blog. So, I fear this is only going to get worse.

Michael, maybe. I hope not. I think we all want peace and just living in unity.
We have to just stop pointing fingers at one another and always assume that the other side is evil, or wants to destroy America, etc. It's nonsense. Just think for yourself. Don't vote based on the daily politics - they will come and go. Vote on what truly matters.. due process, rule of law, presumption of innocence. These key pillars have to remain intact. Everything else can fall. Trump will be gone soon. But these principles cannot fall.
