Donald Trump declared he would have a good chance against judo black belt Vladimir Putin in a hypothetical boxing match, during some off-script boasting at a Minnesota political rally.
Speaking to a throng of supporters, US President Donald Trump criticized the media for trying to undermine his controversial meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Helsinki, Finland in July.
“With Putin of Russia they said, ‘He was too nice’. That was a great meeting,” the US president said. “They want me to get into a boxing match with him.”
After a pause, he added: “And I think I’d do very well.”

In Judo and street fighting you learn how to throw punches. Judo is not strictly throws and 'wrestling'.
Judo being a martial art has similarities to boxing ion mindset, training, discipline etc.
There are similarities between dance and Tai Kwondo. If you are good at dance, chances are you will learn the Tai Kwondo forms fairly easily.
Not sure if the force come with that, but the choreography uses the same part of the brain.
Donald is mentally tough when it comes to business etc. I do not think he is mentally tough when it comes to physical fighting.
Putin is or was physically tough. Putin problem is that the discipline he learned was KGB and not also economics. It limits his vision, his moves. He has blinders on.
