Long-simmering tension between White House chief of staff John Kelly and national security adviser John Bolton boiled over on Thursday, three administration officials confirmed, in a heated shouting match outside the Oval Office over a recent surge in southern border crossings.
Trump has been fuming in public and private over the mounting border crisis, worrying about the potential political fallout just weeks before the midterms, according to White House aides. The president threatened on Thursday to order the military to shut down the Southern border if Latin American countries don’t take new steps to slow the flow of migrants.

Now this is a bit of a crackpot theory, but hear me out.
If the argument was really worth recording, reporters and bystanders would have filmed it relatively easily.
So the media takes a tepid argument and hypes it up and the Administration can't really deny it ever happening either.
I think the biggest and most under reported story of this decade is the behaviour of the left in the US. I cannot help but think Russia or perhaps China is influencing them. They shout that borders are inhumane. Which country ever has had no Borders and managed to survive? Which country benefits from the US being overrun by now more than 22 million illegal immigrants. This is not normal.
Meanwhile, if you are for borders and speak out for borders (basically executing your right of free speech and being concerned for the nation),left wing lynch mobs form, threaten you with violence and try to get you fired from your job.
I am absolutely shocked about what's happening in the US. What is happening on MSNBC and CNN? Have these people completely lost their collective minds? And all are so sooo outraged. As if being outraged is a currency and they're all competing for it. I know being outraged more than the next gives you more airtime, and makes you a more decent person in their eyes (and it has the advantage that you don't need to research any facts - moral outrage alone, is good enough it seems, to hold a 7-8 figure job. .I get all that)..but don't they see that this is tearing up the fabric of the US?
On top, free speech seems to only exist for left wing people by now. Have right wing thoughts (enforcement of border for example) and you're labelled a racist. I'm sure Fred will call me one any second now. This is unbelievable and should be taken more seriously. The sing-sang on the left demands you to sing along and demands you to be outraged.
And they all look the same, talk the same. Give me two pictures of talking heads and I can identify the leftie by the glasses they wear. I can even recognise their snaring, nasal voice pattern by now they are all so alike. Like drones. Or parrots, as was pointed out here before. All repeating the same narrative. All labeling you as bigot or racist for thinking differently.
Unbelievable. It seems coordinated and it seems undermining the strength of the US. If really Russian meddling takes places, I'm almost sure that's where it's happening. Pitching left vs right. During the Kavanaugh hearing, angry mobs shouted "I believe her". What about due process? What about presumption of innocence? What about evidence? Can these people not see what they're doing? Give in to these mobs and you have mob justice, not a democracy. You're that close from losing it all. And Morning Joe and Don Lemon, and Cooper who - among themselves have a collective IQ of <100, rule the airtime. No thought. Just narrative. And the left cheers.
I always feared gun violence in the US - now I fear the left mob violence more. They come after your job, your family, beat you up and threaten you.
Just unbelievable. I hope all republicans and independents, and free-minded Democrats will come together and vote them out of office in the mid terms. This is bigger than any other issue, like north Korea or even China or healthcare. The US is at imminent breaking point and they don't seem to notice how they're being manipulated and how toxic the left has become
The phenomenon is all about how kids have been raised. Our Lefties have coddled our kids and have not taught them how to be strong. They are spoiled, un-patriotic and think they know more than they do.
Raising my 3 kids, we insisted they would not have cell phone. This was when texting became so prevalent in schools a few years ago. Now, they look at all their peers and laugh how they are so needy for their phones and how ignorant they are. Less texting; more real world experience!

And I say all that having been Democrat all my life - but now I no longer care about party. I just want this nightmare of leftist mobs, and outrage acting to stop. Have you seen the guy screaming at an elderly lady who was waiting at a traffic light? She was wearing an NYPD hat - and on CNN they teach you to hate cops (until you need one of course). In short, her husband was a first responder who died during 9/11 and the leftist guy kept screaming at her that it's good her cop husband died. WTF! This was the most vile thing I have seen my entire life. Well perhaps not the most.. but it cracked the top 10. When Clinton openly said "civility can only return when we get power back". no. just no. Never. NEVER! How can anyone on the left accept that and not call her out. Such corruption and low morale. That's why I will vote Republican first time ever. Midterms are approaching soon. Lets get out and vote and make sure this nightmare ends. MAGA! KAG!
@Michael .. good for you, and I think you are on to something. I often call the left "outrage activists".. it's like on Facebook when you compete for likes. They compete for saying the most outragous things, and acting as morale superbeings, when they are so terribly flawed in everything they say and do. And then they want to get -you- fired for exercising freedom of speech. Because when you disagree with them, you are a "racist". I have never ever done anything racist in my life, but, by being pro-border, I suddenly am a racist and biggot. Really? They probably also will label me as redneck with no education. Sorry, but I'm ivy league educated. I know what I am and who I am and I am -sick- about the left using the racist, sexist, ageist cards on us. When I watch "morning joe" on MSNBC - i sometimes force myself to, just to see how they think these days - I almost always have to switch the channel within 3-5min tops. This low IQ, no research show gets away with things that wouldn't have been acceptable 5 years ago. And as Trump pointed out - why do they call themselves the elite? What are they elite in? They all wear the same glasses, talk the same way and don't do their homework, don't know anything about the world and real life and live in this abstract phantasy, and always blame America for everything.
