DW: John Bolton starts talks with Russia over nuclear treaty

The US national security adviser's visit to Moscow comes after President Trump vowed to withdraw from the INF nuclear pact. Russia has warned that pulling out of the landmark treaty would be a "dangerous step."

US National Security Adviser John Bolton has arrived in Moscow for what promises to be two days of high-tension talks with senior Kremlin officials.

The visit comes after President Donald Trump announced his intention to withdraw from a landmark nuclear weapons treaty.

China is the elephant in the room. China has deployed hundreds of missiles that would violate the INF if Chine was in the INF. The US has deployed ZERO such missiles in the Indo-Pac.

So that's the problem. Either bring China in or if not, modify INF so that it doesn't apply from India eastward all the way to the east coast of the USA.

In short talk all Russia wants, its their ally breaking the INF.
