Daily Mail: Revealed: Second novichok poisoning suspect is unmasked as Russian military doctor after he used his own address at GRU spy agency HQ and real date of birth for his undercover identity
* Spy named Ruslan Boshirov unveiled as Colonel Anatoliy Vladimirovich Chepiga
* Alexander Petrov now revealed as Dr Alexander Mishkin, trained military doctor
* He trained as a doctor for the Russian naval armed forces then recruited by GRU
* Dr Mishkin assumed undercover identity in 2010 and became Alexander Petrov
The second novichok poisoning suspect has been revealed as a military doctor employed by the Russian GRU intelligence agency who used his real date of birth for his undercover identity.
Investigative website Bellingcat outed the first Salisbury suspect last month who went by the name Ruslan Boshirov but was in fact Colonel Anatoliy Chepiga.
Now they have revealed the second suspect- who was thought to be Alexander Petrov- is actually Dr. Alexander Yevgenyevich Mishkin, a trained military doctor in the GRU intelligence services.
Bungling Dr Mishkin even used his own birth date and first names of his parents as part of his undercover identity as Alexander Petrov.
