Before I get started, let me clarify something. Groupthink, mob behavior, panic, etc. have a powerful capacity to make smart people dumb. This is the moral of every witch-hunt story and is about as well documented as any phenomena in human history. As Tommy Lee Jones says in Men in Black, “A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals, and you know it.”
I mention this up front to acknowledge that many of the people I am appalled by are, individually, smart and decent professionals. But, as a group, they are making fools of themselves and their profession, and making the country’s problems worse.

Goldberg also wrote a dumb book that showed he has no clue about the origins of Fascism.
Citing him as some visionary authority isn't the best idea. He's clearly a hack.

Just one example of that silly article: Jonah badmouths the Dems about FBI and yet the FBI was not allowed to interview the accuser. Why? Because they would then have to interview Kavanaugh...Trump limited the FBI and if that is right in your thinking then so be it...Trump and the GOP have withheld documents from the other party and have seriously limited the time and people that could be interviewed. Now if that is how things are to be done then do not blame the media but rather Trump and his party.
I find in general the media more trustworthy than what we are hearing from GOP partisans. Times is fake? then tell us who else just gave us the rundown on Trump and taxes and money that NY will now try to reclaim ...some 450 million kept that should have been paid...fake? let Trump sue the paper then.
An odd thing in passing: National Review, in which this article appears, is of course conservative. That is fine. But an equally highly regarded conservative magazine, The Weekly Standard now consistently comes out against what Trump and cohorts are doing to conservative values.
Someday Lindsay will muster the courage to declare he's a lesbian.

Back in the 1990s Chrissy Blase Ford said she was raped in the late 1980s . She has kept changing the timeline. That is major lie #1.
Lie #2 is is that she does not know what a polygraph test is. One of her friends thanked her for preparing her for a polygraph.
So I welcome an investigation with weekly update going for 5 months. Let's have this investigation last past the Xmas season, because we do not want the general public to forget how much Christine Ford lied or how repugnant the Democrats are.
