The US ambassador to Nato has warned Russia that if it does not halt the development of a new cruise missile in violation of a treaty between the countries, the US will “take out” the missile.
Kay Bailey Hutchison was speaking to reporters about a longstanding issue of contention, a Russian ground-launched cruise missile which Washington says breaks the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF).

Common man, every military wants CAPABILITY to take out adversary's weapons.
She is obviously talking about the u.s walking away from the treaty and developing a counter weapon capable of taking it out in war.

THAT (ABOVE) IS WHAT GOT SAID ...NOT DEVELOP CAPABILITY
In order to take out the alleged weapn systems the US would need to develop the capability or, at the very least would need to be sure it has such capability. Given the unreliability of the people making the claim, this hardly inspires confidence. This looks like more wild and reckless statements on the part of our government officials .
