This year’s New Establishment list attempts to reconcile the revolutionary fluctuations in the zeitgeist, and contextualize them in a firmament, if only for a fleeting moment.
We are living in extraordinary times, dear reader: media colossuses are merging; our technology megaliths have faltered; virtually every element of human life is being reconsidered and artificially mimicked; and we’ve even become obsessed with adult scooting—all while the Dow Jones continues to float at an unprecedented level. Meanwhile, the Russia investigation remains ongoing, and our culture is undergoing an overdue reckoning. Are we at the end of one age or the beginning of the next?

wow, an inaccurate\politically biased top 100 list from Vanity Fair, color me surprised.
When did anyone take these seriously?
"Are we at the end of one age or the beginning of the next?"
The end of one age is the beginning of another. It may be petty to pick at this but it seems representative of their overall level of thinking.
Another one: "blockchain-friendly crypto-currency" :)
