Since Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi walked into the ultra-conservative kingdom's consulate in Istanbul on October 2 and never reemerged, there has been a wave of condemnation from Western leaders.
Turkish officials say they have 'evidence' the writer, who was a vocal critic of the kingdom's Crown Prince, was killed in the consulate. They believe a team of Saudi hitmen killed and dismembered him on the day he walked into the building to acquire paperwork to marry his fiancee.

I don't like the Saudi regime or their Wahhabi practices. I don't like Germany's govt much either but they are both very important countries for the US to engage. I've noticed that the vast majority of American politicians condemning the Saudi's are Iran enablers from the Democratic party who supported the failing and dumb Iran nuclear deal. The press takes Erdogan's words as truth despite him being a big teller of lies. No doubt the Saudi's killed Khashogii but we know from the Germans the Khashogii was a real slime ball mixed up in espionage, the Muslim Brotherhood, the bin Ladens. The guy was dirty.

Fred, I say forget the whole thing exactly the way the American media forgot the attempted assassination of many GOP House members last year by a progressive fanatic. They reported as little as possible about that attack and to this day American MSM defends progressive physical attacks on GOP people, harassing attacks in public, doxxing their children and so forth.
This Khashogii reporting is political in nature, nothing more.
