Will There Be An October Surprise In The U.S. Midterm Elections?

FOX News: October surprise? 5 things that could rock the midterms

From the growing caravan of migrants making its way toward America's southern border to a pledge of new tax cuts for middle-income Americans, the midterm season could yet hold a few twists and turns between now and Election Day.

The Nov. 6 elections are widely seen as a referendum on the Trump administration and Republican policies pushed in the past two years. Democrats hope to take control of the House and Senate, where Republicans hold a narrow lead.

But a series of developments could tilt the final outcome. The caravan being trucked from southern mexico to the United States border will be one of many October surprises.
That crossing is very well funded because the walk when it suits the media, otherwise they are trucked. They are well fed and housed, so lots of organization went into this scheme. Why? because it is designed to cause a major incident, possibly violence from the Trump team.

At some point along the way the Mexican govt will have to stop them. I don't think Trump will give Mexico good alternatives if they don't.

I think the organizers of this vastly misread if they think this is going to help tbem politically. Do they really think there is American sympathy for those who are invading their country?

The "caravan" will have to be stopped by any and all means necessary. No one wants violence but if necessary to repel the home invasion it must be meted out.

I see no upside to this for the organizers. If Trump expels the invaders, it's a political win for him especially if it has to be done violently. Many Americans are fed up with being invaded in this manner and with the vast hordes invading us from the south.

I suspect saner heads on the part of the Mexican government will prevail. Not wanting to solidify Trump's position they will stop the caravan before Trump and the US do.

And don't forget the mail bombs. All targeted to Democrats. This looks like such a setup by some left wing nut who hopes to rattle his own base to come out and vote these loonies into office. Sooooo suspect
