The Guardian: European 'clearing house' to bypass US sanctions against Iran

Well France it is after Macron came out and said the USA is a potential enemy of the EU(but not NATO). It is so bizarre the Euro's being close American allies in NATO but declaiming against America in the EU. Its a position they are comfortable with since Hypocrisy is a French and German tradition. Is this in keeping with Mann's thesis of the Duality of Man?
If the very wealthy can create venues for their massive clandestine financial dealings it should be a no brainer to create a clearing house for the Iran oil sales and I'm an sure it doesn't need a host country to do it.
