Growing Labor Unrest In Iran

Hassan Mahmoudi, American Thinker: Iran: Steel Factory Workers protest in oil-rich Ahvaz

Strikes are breaking out all over Iran now. It's not just the teachers, the elderly pensioners and the truckers now, the strikes are moving to big cornerstones of the Iranian economy, such as the steel industry.

Chanting “I don’t leave until I get my rights,” “Dying workers don’t accept submission,” “No nation has seen this much injustice,” “One less embezzlement, our problem is solved,” the workers of the Ahvaz Steel Factory hit the sixth day of their strike on Nov. 14. It was a raucous demonstration full of slogans in front of the Iranian governorate. Then they marched and blocked the street.

WNU Editor: It is one thing when students protest. It is a completely different thing when their parents start to protest. The last thing that Iran needs right now is labor unrest .... but after years of promises and expectations that are never fulfilled, it looks like some Iranians have made the decision to strike.

This growing dissatisfaction with the religious dinosaurs is certainly enjoyable. Now how will they be thrown out of their political entrenchments? Lots of people on their payroll just like Maduro's regime.
Of course, it will be the fault of the Great Satan. There's an element of truth in this and they can hope Johnny K and the great orator can get back into power to help them right things but that's not where my $$$ is.
A few thousand more casualties in areas where the militias and Hezbolla are operating would be a nice addition to the dinos' discomfort and I would certainly enjoy such a setback
to their plans of further growth in the Middle East.
I wonder if they are praying for another night time delivery of pallet loads of greenbacks from the prior occupant of the White House to bolster their deteriorating political position?
