Why doesn't anybody ever say "this is seven times when the US military got too close to Russia and China"? Why do so many people blythely accept the arrogance of the US military? Who made us the judge and juror of the behavior of everybody else in the world, anyway? We would be much better off, instead, if we pursued mutually beneficial relations with the rest of the world rather than placing ourselves as morally superior judges lecturing to others about how they should behave, and threatening them with coercion, containment and regime change when they fail to obey.
