Iran has greeted the re-imposition of US sanctions with air defence drills and an acknowledgement from President Hassan Rouhani that the nation faces a 'war situation'.
The sanctions end all the economic benefits America granted Tehran for its 2015 nuclear deal with world powers. For now, Iran continues to abide by the accord which saw it limit its enrichment of uranium.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said: "Today the enemy (the United States) is targeting our economy...the main target of sanctions is our people.

China oil import bill in 2017 was $162 billion.
I am sure China will be super pleased to see that bill climb 50% or more in 2019 just as US trade tariffs are slowing the Chinese economy.
