The Hill: Trump: US will not hand over Erdoğan foe for Turkey

President Trump on Saturday rejected reports that his administration is considering extraditing a foe of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Trump told reporters at the White House before leaving for a trip to California that extraditing exiled Turkish cleric Fethullah Gülen was "not under consideration."

And so goes another news cycle

Does not matter if it was true or even close to being true.

What matters is that the cycle churned, the advertisers paid, and the liars of the press made bank.

I posted right on this blog the day the story broke, it was fake news. NBC News has along record of deceit when it comes to Trump. No way they would be favored with such a scoop demonstrating amorality in the Trump admin. Plus they relied on anonymous sources, a sure sign they were peddling fake news.
