CNN: Trump signals US won't punish Saudi crown prince over Khashoggi killing
Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump signaled Tuesday that he will not take strong action against Saudi Arabia or its Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the death and dismemberment of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The White House has been struggling to square a widespread sense that the crown prince directed the killing with its desire for Saudi support for its foreign policy priorities and a need to manage close relationships between bin Salman, the Trump administration and members of Trump's family.
In an exclamation-mark laden statement subtitled "America First!" Trump said that "our intelligence agencies continue to assess all information, but it could very well be that the Crown Prince had knowledge of this tragic event -- maybe he did and maybe he didn't!"

CNN lost one of their Muslim Brotherhood Operatives and is upset about it..
Murder is a terrible thing, but Why should the US punish the Saudi's for killing Khashoggi? Governments all over the world commit murders. Perhaps even the US....How does the Washington Post have such power that they will tell nations worldwide what to do because their so called journalist was killed? Something stinks about this whole thing.
It's just politics. The turks were trying to use this murder to advance their Russian partner's agenda and perhaps let Russia have that arms sale. WaPo jumped on it because they do -everything- they can to sabotage or undermine the trump presidency - even if it means losing billions in trade. They don't care that this would punish US workers and not Saudis.. and again, if it happened under Obama and he moved on with the deal, they'd have so kissed his butt and hailed him a grand chess player.
