ISLAMABAD — A study released Thursday says the U.S.-led war on terrorism has killed about 507,000 people in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan during its 17 years and is showing a 22 percent increase in deaths in the past two years.
The death toll includes U.S. and allied troops, civilians in the war zones, local military and police forces, as well as militants, who have died from war violence, according to the report by Brown University's Costs of War Project.
The report said the number of indirect deaths was several times larger than deaths caused by direct war violence, bringing the total death count to well over 1 million people.

Well, and if we include future wars the toll is up to one billion! Typically the French Tass Agency (named AFP)never late to hit USA.
So people die.
If you have policing you have deaths.
If you have no policing , you still have deaths.
It is a matter of how many and whom.
Let's put it this way.
If you police the war of Hitler and Tojo, you get 50 million deaths.
"Don't do it! Don't go to war!" gas the anti-war people as they have another BM.
"Don't go to war, it will only lead to a higher body count than if you do nothing."
If people had did nothing, the NAZIs would have wiped out 50% to 90% of the population of the USSR and eventually would have fought the Japanese. Whichever side would've won would have massacred the other and wiped out all black people.
So fighting the NAZIS was good even with some collateral damage. I have never seen a perfect process and I never will. The anti-whatever trolls here have never seen are have been able to produce a perfect process either.
OMG an 8 year old was killed! Drop everything and do nothing and grovel for a year.

PS Maybe it was an ISIS bullet that killed her. their bullets do not always hit their intended target either.

Under DipS#$t Bob's rules of engagement all a ISIS guy has to do is bivouac among civilians no matter how small the hamlet and he is safe.
Heck you could bivouac a whole regiment on one farm family''s land and the whole lot is untouchable, because some one other than the regiment might become a casualty.

A dolt such as BH would require any American troops to use only select fire while the people they engage in are using full auto. This while BH sleeps snug and tight as a bed bug while on the government dole or on alimony (if you believe any of his stories).
