TASS: Putin says not going to leave presidential office yet

WNU Editor:  Russian President Putin remarked  after winning this year's Russian Presidential election that he will not run in 2024. The critical year will be late 2022 when those who want to succeed him will be making their intentions known. In 2023 Putin will probably indicate who his favorite will be, and after that he will be a lame-duck President. I do not expect him to run again. But should he make the decision to change the constitution and run again .... like Chinese President Xi .... there will be a lot of opposition, and much of it within Putin's own entourage.
