RFE: U.S. Iran Sanctions Take Effect, Eight Countries Get Temporary Oil Waivers
The United States has launched fresh sanctions against Iran's energy, shipping, shipbuilding, and financial sectors following President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw the United States from the 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran and world powers.
Labeled by Trump as the "strongest ever," the sanctions took force in the early morning hours of November 5 as part of Washington’s efforts to ramp up pressure on Tehran to "change its behavior."

Most are close US allies without hydrocarbons of their own. I expect for them the message is look to the USA for oil and gas.
I see only China and Turkey continuing Iranian imports in public. India will have to end it because DC is far more important to Delhi than Tehran.
