"When you strike at a king you must kill him," Ralph Waldo Emerson once said. Well, this year China tried to strike at President Trump for daring to launch a trade war with Beijing -- and missed the mark entirely.
After Trump imposed massive tariffs on Chinese goods earlier this year, Beijing responded in June with what appeared to be a clever strategy: targeting retaliatory tariffs against Trump voters in rural farming communities across the United States. China is the largest importer of U.S. soybeans, buying $14 billion of them in 2017. Three of the biggest soybean-producing states, Indiana, Missouri and North Dakota, not only voted for Trump, but also in the 2018 midterms had Democratic senators, Joe Donnell, Ind., Claire McCaskill, Mo., and Heidi Heitkamp, N.D., who were up for reelection. If Beijing imposed painful tariffs on soybeans, Chinese leaders likely calculated, they could create a rift between Trump and rural voters who put him in the White House, give Senate Democrats a boost and force Trump to back down.

YES, he's a brash new yorker, who likely paid a pornstar to have sex with him, but he is no avanetti who was invited two hundred times to CNN to be their attack dog - no matter his shady past. See the double standard? TRUMP actually rewrites history -- under Barack Obama we all rolled over on our backs when it came to China... same under Bush and Clinton.. Trump is different. He looks at the markets and - DESPITE ALL(!) economics and smart asses on CNN telling him "you can't do it", he actually did it and it looks like he is succeeding even. At least he is trying ffs.. Get behind this guy, this matters more than the climate accord or how many plastic straws or sugar you can have, or how many gender bathrooms we have... this means TRILLIONS in $ returning to the US!!!

Gasahol was increased year round, winter months, to provide a floor in farm prices. More corn ground means less soybean planting, which means a floor soybeans as well.
Without seasonal change over at refineries this will mean 2 less gas spikes.

I had a college prof, who would not use the term family. This was during the Bush I presidency. He was making a political statement. He said the terminology of the field was not set in stone and he had a choice of two words family and another word. He said he would not use the term 'family', because that is where he came down in the political spectrum. It was a STEM subject and he brought politics into it.
