Is Blackater Coming Back?

Blackwater USA took out a full page ad in the January/February 2019 issue of "Recoil" magazine with the company's logo and a message: "We are coming."

Military.com: Mattis is out, and Blackwater is back: ‘We are coming’

This article has been edited to clarify that Constellis no longer trains forces at Camp Integrity and that Blackwater, if it returns, would not have a connection to Constellis.

Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis is out.

Mattis' resignation comes amid news that President Donald Trump has directed the drawdown of 2,000 U.S. forces in Syria, and 7,000 U.S. forces from Afghanistan, a U.S. official confirmed to Military Times, a story first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

This month, in the January/February print issue of the gun and hunting magazine “Recoil," the former contractor security firm Blackwater USA published a full-page ad, in all black with a simple message: “We are coming.”

Is the war in Afghanistan — and possibly elsewhere ― about to be privatized?

Update: Ominous Blackwater ‘is coming’ advert raises prospect Trump has privatised war (News.com.au)

WNU Editor: The company that formed after Blackwater is saying that is has no affiliation with the former company or this ad. The former executives of Blackwater are saying that they are not responsible for this ad. So who put up the ad? And why? Your guess is as good as mine.

You think the further privatisation of the already industrialised killing of people is a good idea? Do you even know the history of Blackwater?
God help us..you're either uninformed or extremely reckless
Do you know why blackwater had to change their name? Ffs do you know anything?

I have not been to a war zone. But if you don't see a problem with the already existing military industrial complex, and want to double down on this, then you should really listen to what Eisenhower had to say about the dangers of it.

Companies operate on a profitability basis, and need to provide ever increasing earnings to their stakeholders (even if not publicly listed, investors want a return on their money).. the problem is that we are entering an age where we will have companies becoming even more motivated to have a permanent state of warfare around the globe. I do like the efficiencies of capitalism, but capitalism is also a monster. If you do not know this, you have never been on the wrong side of it. Good luck you never have to experience it.

Also, if you think taxpayers won't have to foot the bill, then who will pay those companies? Will they operate out of the goodness of their hearts? You must be insane.
If the taxpayers don't pay, then those companies will have to find a new way to make war profitable, and then God help us all
