U.S. Senators Are Convinced That Saudi Crown Prince Salman Ordered The Murder Of Jamal Khashoggi (Updated)

Daily Mail: 'There's not a smoking gun, there's a smoking saw': Furious GOP senators led by Lindsay Graham say there's 'zero question' the Saudi crown prince ordered the murder of Jamal Khashoggi after briefing by CIA boss

* CIA Director Gina Haspel briefed a select group of senators this morning
* Briefing on Jamal Khashoggi's murder comes at the insistence of lawmakers demanding an assessment on the Saudi crown prince's knowledge of the death
* Haspel will now brief ranking Republican and Democratic senators on national security committees in addition to party leadership
* The rank and file are being excluded though and Sen. Rand Paul is up in arms
* Sen. Lindsey Graham was invited but endorsed Paul in a tweet
* Paul accused the White House of selecting who gets to hear from Haspel

Senators left a briefing by CIA Director Gina Haspel on Tuesday convinced that the Saudi crown prince was involved in Jamal Khashoggi's murder, in spite of the president's claims that the evidence does not implicate Mohammad bin Salman.

'There's not a smoking gun, there's a smoking saw,' Sen. Lindsey Graham said after the invitation-only briefing that the intelligence agency provided to a handful of senators.

Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Bob Corker told reporters: 'I have zero question in my mind that the crown prince directed the murder … zero question.'

He wasn't a United States citizen. Don't know why the media even cares.

Kashoggi loved Bin Laden after 911.

If he did that, it is questionable that he left the Muslim Brotherhood.

More journalists are murdered in Mexico than anywhere else. Some of them are bound by geography to have tires, strong ties sometimes, to the U.S.

Why cry about Kashoggi but not those EMxican journalist.

Truth be told the journalists know they can thump their chests and look brave on this murder, but not that of the Mexican journalists.

If they investigate the murders or carry their story in the pres too much, the cartels will deal with some of them.

Lets face it most American journalists are shit!

Pure SHIT!

Once I read about his background I thought good riddance. Another oppressor in waiting. I find it surprising the Wash. Post would employ the guy. Obama, yes. Maybe the Post's reporters should be required to wear burqhas and go to beheadings and amputations like "good" muzlims of some factions.
