Mere moments after BuzzFeed published a report — elements of which are now being called “false” by Special Council Robert Mueller’s office — the media had already begun invoking Trump’s imminent impeachment.
CBS News’s Paula Reid said: "If this 'BuzzFeed' news report is true, that the special counsel has evidence beyond just Michael Cohen's testimony, that the president directed his former personal attorney to lie to Congress, then we are likely on our way to possible impeachment proceedings. Because this, this is black and white.”

WNU Editor: Yup .... CNN Guest: BuzzFeed ‘Got Their Brains Kicked In’ By Mueller’s Team (Daily Caller). This is how a news organization commits corporate suicide, and doubly so for the major main stream news media organizations who made the decision to rebroadcast this lie for the entire day. On a side note. I am pleased that the Mueller Counsel made the decision to make this statement tonight. It must have been very difficult for them to do it, but I understand why they did it. We learned in the past 24 hours how these type of false stories can seriously damage the Presidency and the ability of a President to do his job. The vitriol that was on every news network, the coverage in newspapers like the New York Times, Washington Post, the call among many in Congress for an investigation and to begin impeachment hearings, and in social media .... talk about a firestorm of Trump hatred and anger. And it does not stop there. The international coverage was even worse, where there was open speculation that this was the end of the Trump Presidency. And all of this was based on one news story that was not true. Bottom line. This is a black day for the press, and one that many people are not going to forget.

Nonsense. If every time one person or low grade website goofs up it is a bad day for all websites then we are in real trouble. Save the mourning for when a real news organization really screws up or, perhaps, saves the rule of law and the Constitution. I guess bloggers like you have difficulty seeing clearly when your side of the world cheers when Constitutional freedoms are trampled. According to numerous USA polls, Americans have turned against the dark side. That is the draft you must be feeling.

I do not like Manafort; he did not pay all of his taxes. I do not despise Manafort, since he is merely a creature of his milieu . He is a minor player doing the hard work of paving the way for the grandees and he wanted want they had more easily. But solitary confinement? That is Democrat Party police state stuff.
Trampling the Constitution like when Samantha Power uses the machinery of government to unmask people and the political opposition of the Democrat Party and then spy upon scores and scores of people, they found nothing, but they sic the FBI and a special prosecutor on them anyway?
New York Times, Washington Post, Time Magazine et al are all rags. Washington Post is owned by Jeff Bezos, a billionaire. This might as well be the high middle ages but with different trappings.
The establish boys of the news business chose to run with the story without vetting because of peculiar political predilections.

I did not say anything about the final disposition of the Meuller report except for one thing in particular.
I wrote that the Meuller report would not agree or back up the Buzzfeed hit piece authored by their self admitted liar, self admitted back stabber, and self admitted mentally ill reporter.
