Reuters: Trump proposes wall-for-DACA in bid to end shutdown
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump proposed an immigration deal on Saturday in a bid to end a 29-day partial government shutdown, including temporary protections for “Dreamers” and other immigrants, but Democrats immediately dismissed it.
Insisting on his demand for $5.7 billion to fund a U.S.-Mexico border barrier as part of any bill to fully reopen the government, Trump sought to pile pressure on Democrats by appealing to immigrants they have tried to help.
In a speech from the White House, Trump offered three years of protections for young undocumented immigrants known as “Dreamers,” as well as for holders of temporary protected status (TPS), another class of immigrants.

A DACA extension (DACA is illegal BTW) gives time to the Democrats to make the illegal legal.

Fred served some time in Korea. He heard some shot fired in anger. For the most part he was a REMF. He was in intel. Probably was not a classified base. The building he was in was a classified facility in a march larger base.

I have not seen that in my area. In 2000 I could see a Confederate flag painted on the side of a house 1st floor of a 2 story house. You could see it coming off one of the 4 bridges of the metro area. By 2001 it was gone. When I drove though that neighborhood I saw a woman who was a 1/4 black (my estimate). She did not look worried like something was going to happen to her. I bet that if anyone tried to do anything said person would be immediately dogpiled and be the worse for wear.
