TASS: Russian security chief warns Ukraine could lose statehood
"The Kiev authorities are doing everything to split Ukraine, implementing the West’s scenario to break Ukraine away from Russia, while ignoring the interests of its own people," said Nikolai Patrushev
MOSCOW, January 15. /TASS/. Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Nikolai Patrushev has said that Ukraine could lose its statehood, if Kiev continues to pursue its current policy.
"The continuation of such policy by the Kiev authorities can contribute to the loss of Ukraine’s statehood," he said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta. According to Patrushev, "the Kiev authorities are doing everything to split Ukraine, implementing the West’s scenario to break Ukraine away from Russia, while ignoring the interests of its own people."

WNU Editor: Ukraine is a deeply divided country along linguistic and sectarian lines, made worse by the Ukraine government's refusal to make compromises with its Russian-Ukrainian minority. In a certain way the conflict in Ukraine now reminds me Northern Ireland and its long history of conflict. And while I do not see Ukraine breaking apart, I do see many years of conflict before both sides sit down and search for a solution.

What are you talking about, Russia invaded UKraine and they are there today running the "show". Dont compare apples and oranges, Donbass Region is divided between supporting UKR and RUS, but since Ukraine is a indepedent country they can say FO to the Russians
