The Hill: Graham says he'll ask FBI director about reported investigation into whether Trump was working for Russia
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Sunday that he intends to ask FBI Director Christopher Wray whether the bureau opened a counterintelligence investigation regarding the possibility that President Trump was a Russian agent.
The senator, who serves as the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, called a New York Times report that the FBI launched an inquiry into whether Trump was working for Russia after the president fired former bureau chief James Comey "astonishing," but cast skepticism on its findings.

WNU Editor: This will be interesting. Congress does need to know if this happened. And if it did happen, Congress will need to know what was their evidence, and what kinds of checks and balances are there to insure that it is a counterintelligence investigation and not one that is motivated by politics. As to what is my take. My gut tells me this New York times report is true, and that those who pushed for it have now been fired, resigned, demoted, and/or under investigation.

Another way to look at this is that some top FBI people got involved, suspicious, because of FBI firings, ie Comey. I did not read that the FBI got involved prior to the firings but rather after.

So what if it was politically motivated? the small fry Democrats can be rehabilitated. If not it is not the family of the national level Democrats and casualties are expected.
Meanwhile the media and national level Democrats will continue to make hay out of the spin and the lies of e politically motivated so that Trump can not go through with his agenda of robust economic growth, strong defense, safe borders etc. Nothing will stick tom them, because they didn't do it. It was small dry.
If the spin brings his poll number low enough long enough serendipitously, they will go from impeachment without their conscience bothering them in the least.
Comey was a leaker, a sieve. He got fired. Suspicious? Not in the least.
This is just the swamp flying cover for Obama, Hillary, the GD and the rest of the scumbags. they pulled a dirty trick that makes the Watergate break in looks like child's play, so they are fighting like Hell not to get tagged with being corrupt.
I had hoped this post was about Sen. Graham finally coming to terms with his lesbianism. Just admit it senator, you'll be better off.
