From Mike Ritland who interviews her ....
.... To say this episode was humbling is a gross understatement. 6 years ago, Lara Logan interviewed me in my living room for a 60 minutes piece. In a twist of amazing fate, and almost 6 years to the day, I had the incredible opportunity to interview her in her living room in similar fashion. Like you’ve never heard or seen her before, she shares her amazing journey and career as a world renowned journalist for some of the biggest news agencies in the world, in some of the most dangerous places on earth. The bravery and courage she shows in this interview sharing details of being in war zones as well as being sexually assaulted in Egypt is impossible to overstate. Sit back and enter the world of one of the most badass women to ever grace the news world for an amazing compilation of stories.
WNU Editor: It is a long interview but a joy to listen to. A summary on what she focuses on in this interview is here .... "I’m Committing Professional Suicide": CBS Star Reporter Admits "Mostly Liberal" Journalists Are Now "Political Activists" (Zero Hedge).

Alas, in an attempt to show how "bad" MSM is, this gets posted.
What is not noted? Well that journalist badly mangled a story, then apologized, and then not much later got dropped from her job. Now, switching to far right media place, she bad mouths the place that dropped her...Odd thing? In the years she had worked for CBS, never a complaint.
CBS asks Lara Logan to take leave after flawed Benghazi report
I've been listening to this interview during my commutes. She is an amazing women with the guts of a Navy Seal and the heart of a champion. Her humanity just shines thru as she tells her stories of Afghanistan, Iraq and journalism. Spend the time, she's worth every second of your time.
She is, as anon notes, brave and gutsy...also husky and attractive in voice and looks, and that said, she went over to the dark side (60 Minutes the longest running show on tv) and with new right wing job, says her resume in peril! no. Unless she gets an offer from Fox.
Well, yes, but so are the Consverative ones, who may have started the trend if I remember so. Can someone say Rush!
Furthermore, I think media folks are the new Priests and Priestesses speaking from their pulpit. This needs to stop else we will continue to splinter as a species growing further apart. Sort of like all the Religions of the world; you should see a map tracking all the religions through time - amazing.
Feldhake, Rush isn't a journalist, he's an entertainer with a radio show with his own opinions. Logan is a journalist. Dan Rather was too until he got caught faking a story to hurt Bush prior to the 2004 election.
You are wrong about calling them Priests and Priestesses. They are no more than well paid errand boys and girls. Go back and review the JournoList scandal from 2008. It still goes on.
Well, Priets take orders to, what do you think the Pope is? Same thing just a little different. But I'll look at the scandal
