CNN: Sources to CNN: During Puerto Rico visit, Trump talked about using nuclear football on North Korea
He was there to survey the path of destruction left by Hurricane Maria. But when President Donald Trump visited Puerto Rico in October 2017, the island's dire predicament was hardly the only topic on his mind.
People familiar with the visit said the President was distracted by other matters -- including his then-devolving war of words with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un -- as he toured devastated neighborhoods and took an aerial tour of the damage.
At one point, Trump pointed to the "nuclear football" -- a briefcase always in the President's vicinity that can be used to authorize a nuclear attack -- and claimed he could use it on Kim whenever he felt.
"This is what I have for Kim," he said, according to three people familiar who witnessed the remark.

WNU Editor: This is CNN's interpretation. But the nuclear football is always near the President, and I am sure President Trump has commented on it numerous times in the past two years.

When it comes to North Korea, president Trump would not only be in his rights to act, but it might even be prudent.
Before the Kim summit most people thought that North Korea is just stringing us along and have no interest in de-nuking. They had a lot of missile tests, and have even produced videos(!) in which washington, florida and new york are shown in a nuclear holocaust through North Korea missiles. Think of that.
Trump produced a video in which North korea is shown thriving. North Korea produces a video in which there's millions of civilian deaths in the US. The contrast couldn't be stronger. And, on top, we know Kim has executed many, many people and uses terror and labour camps to ensure his reign.
So I have zero - 0 - problems with Trump using everything at his power to stop North Korea from ever, ever posing a real threat. And it really depends on Kim how this will go. Also, as per the other discussion here, north korea also uses salted nukes - devastating to life on the planet and rendering impacted zones inhabitable, a monstreous, inhumane decision of weapons. Not all nukes are created equal. So as per your other threat, in which the US is arming its subs with precision, low yield tactical nukes, there is a reason. And we all know what that reason is. If Kim does not change, every option will be at the table, and he should think about that. Even his underground, nuclear hardened bunkers will not survive a US strike, due to their bunker-penetrating and high-accuracy nuke delivery platforms.
CNN needs to fabricate 24x7 stories making Trump look bad. This is more nonsense for the network of nonsense news.

We all know what the "nuclear briefcase" is. It's obvious that Trump is responding to what he would do if NK would use nuclear missiles. That's the whole reason for why the freaking briefcase is there in the first place.
CNN's lying and propaganda is a danger to US security. I believe at the very least the network should lose their license. At the very least.

First step needs to be to investigate is why CNN/MSNBC:
1) pushed this Russia Collusion Hoax on thousands of occasions 24/7, blurring the lines between what is known and not known - also Brennan/Schiff need to be investigated for the narrative they pushed
2) Why did CNN want us to drop the 100bn USD arms deal with Saudi Arbia? Have their connections to Erdogan via CNN Turk anything to do with it? (Erdogan is a big friend of Putin, one of the very few countries able to fill such a massive order if the US were to drop it)
3) What about all the pro China narrative on CNN for the last 2 decades? China is one of the biggest human rights violators, with CURRENTLY more than a million Muslims in their "reeducation" camps. Almost ZERO reporting by CNN on it, but for twenty years they told me to learn Chinese, buy chinese property, invest in China, and that we are all Chinese citizens soon.. what's up with that? All evidence points to a decline of China, especially with trump in the office, but noooo.. CNN keeps on pushing their narrative, trying to persuade dumb investors into going to China still lol isn't that completely reckless, even as financial advice goes? Look at how their market performs.. you would have lost up to 40% if you had listened to CNN
4) most importantly though, CNNs lies and unfair reporting, leaving out important facts, needs to be investigated. Cavanaugh was an eye opener. After that the young boy who now thank God sues CNN for 250mn for their slanderous misrepresentation of him, Trump supporters, and of course the entire white race (CNNs top host, Don Lemon, just two months ago called White people the real terrorist threat to the US, while we kwow there are millions - if not hundreds of thousands of actual muslim/middle eastern terrorist we left dead on the battlefield.. this outrageous hate speech by Don Lemon shouldn't go unchecked like this).. CNN is really the main driver of dividing this nation - together with the DNC - among race and gender lines, pushing talk of toxic masculinity etc..
I am sooo looking forward to Zucker (head of CNN) to be fired, investigated and ideally frog marched into prison

I have no doubt that the neurotic Trump would, without a second thought, nuke some country, maybe even North Korea, with no consideration whatsoever for the innocent people of that country.
Innocent people who, much like the Americans themselves, have no choice whatsoever in their government's criminal warring activities and its murdering of millions of innocents over the past several decades.
I imagine the launch code contains a GPS designation which if the President is able to key in means there is a real opportunity for a nuke to hit say, Gary Indiana, or some such town in the USA, intentionally or otherwise.
