I don't buy into the Russian truck-based triad equivalent.. they used to be difficult to spot before the internet and wide availability of satellite technology and monitoring that goes beyond thermal or simple photography. My guess is that with all these and using prediction models powered by big data and narrow AIs, the US military can follow and predict where needed such locations to < 1km. Easy. Perhaps <500m. Either way, both are in the kill zone of a small yield (e.g. 60kt) device. The trucks also move slowly, compared to e.g. aircraft.. and they are not fortified, like silos in the US.
Given the low survivability for trucks, they are probably as easy to hit/survive a hit as likely as a silo based bunker that is heavily fortified. Both can be hit almost precisely. US has better targeting technology and the Russians are usually < 500m for these kind of ICBMs. But, Russians being Russians, will likely send you a 200kt instead of the 60kt, which is the preferred yield range for these scenarios on the US side.. So they will in all likelihood also be able to take out the silo based bunker.. but I think it is less guaranteed, as a 200kt over tripple the distance is not as effective as a 60kt over single unit distance, and these bunkers are really made for taking a good hit..
On top, the Russians must always use so much personnel and gas to move these things around. At least at the moment..
