Edward-Isaac Dovere, The Atlantic: Joe Biden Is Running for President
The former vice president has finally decided he’s in, and he’s announcing in less than a week. Now he just has to finish putting a campaign together.
Joe Biden is running. The former vice president will make his candidacy official with a video announcement next Wednesday, according to people familiar with the discussions who have been told about them by top aides.
Seriously, he’s actually made a decision. It’s taken two years of back-and-forth, it’ll be his third (or, depending on how you count, seventh) try for the White House, and many people thought he wouldn’t do it, but the biggest factor reshaping the 2020 Democratic-primary field is locking into place.

Update: Biden to announce U.S. presidential run on Wednesday: report (Reuters)
WNU Editor: This would be a mistake. But a man has to do what a man has to do, and he has been wanting to be President for as long as I can remember.
Update #2: I concur .... A top progressive pundit says mainstream Democrats are worried about Bernie Sanders winning the White House in 2020 (CNBC).

A truly touching moment...
Wnu- my thoughts exactly. Before reading yours I thought "what a mistake".
He and his legacy will be badly burned by the radical dems who want to win at all cost, no matter what.
It is sad. I like Biden somewhat...but he peaked under Obama - who by the way doesn't seem to care if he runs..but maybe I'm wrong. .maybe Obama cares a lot about his former best buddy. He should care, because Biden might be the last shot he has to save any of his legacy in terms of laws. But I think he doesn't care. He made a few cool hundred million with book deals and talks and will instead bank on Michelle running. But she's delusional if she thinks she can win anytime before 2024
Wtf
Just had to complete these picture verifications 20 times (!!) to post the above. Google deep in the Democrats pockets apparently
