International Criminal Court Will Not Probe U.S. Actions In Afghanistan

NPR: World Criminal Court Rejects Probe Into U.S. Actions In Afghanistan

A panel of judges at the International Criminal Court has rejected a request to proceed with investigating possible war crimes and crimes against humanity in Afghanistan, including those allegedly involving U.S. armed forces and the CIA.

This is in response to a request from ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda in 2017, a prospect that U.S. officials have strongly criticized.

In their unanimous decision released Friday, the judges said that the prosecutor's request is within the court's jurisdiction and the crimes are of sufficient gravity for it to consider the case. But it said that it was ultimately rejecting the request because "the current circumstances of the situation in Afghanistan are such as to make the prospects for a successful investigation and prosecution extremely limited."

Bob, you're a three star malcontent. Blurting something inane and spiteful on any news favorable to the US. You do understand that NOT having our servicemen subject to foreign show trials is a GOOD thing - right?

Probably not.

Your Trump-hate is all consuming.

Ruus,

Bob is more than Trump hating. He is America hating. He'll dissemble and say he likes some of the people but not the government. In the end his hate if given form would be so terrible that it would be a distinction without a difference.

He is also a liar. When called out it, he claims that no he did not lie to the whole readership, he was toying with certain readers. He thought stuff was too hard too look up and that people would forget his previous statement after 2 weeks or a few years.

He also says stuff like this "Тебя надо казнить, больной ублюдок."

Bob might as well be anonymous, because it is s very common name. It might as well be John Smith. The guy is a foreign troll from a troll factory or a rabid Leftist. Again it is a distinction without difference.

When the US strongly declared that it was not a member of the ICC and therefore was not accountable to that organization you guys rejoiced. Now you rejoice because that organization let your country off the hook, so to speak? Make up your frigging minds if you have any because your rejoicing lends credibility to the organization your country does not even recognize.

Hate? Hell you guys are so befuddled you aren't even worth thinking about hating.

Although not being a member is good, not having them on your back is good also.

The justice of liberals is not equally applied. You never see the (fill in the blank) of then ICC go after China, Russia, or others

China has a million people incarcerated just of one ethnicity and the ICC?

Buehler?
Buehler?
Buehler?

Try this for a goggle search

"international criminal court" +"ICC" China Uihgurs

Like terrorists, the ICC and liberals prefer soft targets.

If they complain too loudly, at all, in more than a pro forma way, they know life will get difficult and maybe brief for them.

The world is a rough and tumble thing and to have some chihuahuas nipping at you and trying to hamstring you is not appreciated.

Liberals surely have a low IQ doing the same thing and expecting different results.
