Former CIA analyst says agencies dominated by liberals.
The CIA and other U.S. intelligence agencies have become bastions of political liberals and the pro-Democratic Party views of intelligence personnel have increased under President Donald Trump, according to a journal article by a former CIA analyst.
John Gentry, who spent 12 years as a CIA analyst, criticized former senior intelligence leaders, including CIA Director John Brenan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former deputy CIA director Michael Morell, along with former analyst Paul Pillar, for breaking decades-long prohibitions of publicly airing their liberal political views in attacking Trump.

WNU Editor: How times change. I remember when President Obama was elected, in his first year the narrative was that the intel community was too conservative. As to what is my take on today's intel community. In theory, intelligence agencies are supposed to be staffed with non-partisan/apolitical civil servants, and the military agencies with military officers. In reality they are not. They have their own prejudices and biases, and group think is far more common than what it should be. Intelligence entities are also reflections of the political environment that they exist in, and their operations and management will reflect that. But we are also living in a unique time, and the culture on how former senior intel officials must keep their opinions to themselves is no longer there. When former CIA Director Brennan accuses President Trump of working for Russia .... in essence calling him a traitor .... you have to wonder how many who are currently in the intel community also feel that way, and what are they doing about it.

As a senior intelligence executivelike Brennan, if you call the president a traitor, you should be able to prove it or pack your bags.
Brennan's adult life is anchored at either end by questionable acts,
voting for the communist party and calling the resident a traitor.
IMO there is nothing good about the man and his judgment is badly flawed.
Brennan is a complete and utter moron; how a guy like this gets to run anything is beyond me. His IQ cannot be higher than 110. He is barely mid level management material. He is so conflicted about what he did, he is a complete partisan hack like Fred. But then again, Fred watches CNN/MSNBC hive mind programming, so that fits well, as Brennan is a msnbc hack now.. imagine you work in such an organisation and then afterwards you spew partisan nonsense all day - do they have no honor? 1. What I did in the past had nothing to do with what you are trying to say. Not all intel work done by CIA
2. Since the CIA is run by a person appointed by the President, we can assume the pres, be he Dem or GOP will look for someone sympathetic to his views.
3. How many CIA people are left and how many are right? Oh. How many in CIA?
4. Gertz is an old old hand. He was writer for the Moonie owned conservative Washington Times...Moon a far right guy who spent time as convicted felon in US, and ran the moonie cult...That group still around (and in fact, yes, I had some personal experience with them). I would then be cautious in taking seriously with what Gertz says...
forgot to mention. Just the other day this site ran a piece praising the Trump pick, the woman now head of CIA...is she a leberal>? If she is doing her job, will she root out Liberals...was Intel wrong about Russian interference in our election (see Mueller report)
