Of Course Candidate Trump Was Being 'Spied On'

Byron York, Washington Examiner: Barr is right, spying on Trump campaign did occur

Democrats and some in the media expressed shock and outrage when Attorney General William Barr said Wednesday that "spying did occur" on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

Barr "must retract his statement immediately or produce specific evidence to back it up," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said. "Perpetuating conspiracy theories is beneath the office of the attorney general."

Barr has gone "off the rails," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

WNU Editor: We know that FISA warrants were issued during the campaign to conduct surveillance of Trump officials. If that is not spying/surveillance, I do not know what  is.  President Obama's former Attorney General is rebuking the current Attorney General by saying that what happened is  called "investigating" and not "spying" .... Eric Holder rebukes William Barr: It’s called 'investigating' not 'spying' (Washington Examiner). My advice to the former Attorney General is to not get mixed up in this scandal. If you’re engaged in illegal surveillance of a political candidate on behalf of the opposing political party during an election campaign, you are breaking so many laws that I do not even know where to begin. On a side note. We still do not know why these warrants issued, and I think that is why Attorney General William Barr wants to pursue this.

Update: Former FBI Director James Comey is also saying the same nonsense .... "I've never thought of" electronic surveillance as "spying"

Electronically monitor all Americans, when they are using their cell phones, writing emails, texting, messaging, etc.

See, if they call that spying or investigating.

What term do they use?

I am tired of euphemisms used by people to lie about their conduct.

Like when lying Democrats call illegal aliens as undocumented instead. Plenty of illegal aliens in the US have documentation, when they visit the Mexican consulates for service.

These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources.

Overall, we rate the Washington Examiner Right Biased based on editorial positions that almost exclusively favor the right and High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing and a relatively clean fact check record.

Keep hearing from a conservative talk show host that we do not put criminals like Obama or Hillary in prison, because we do not put our presidents or presidential contenders in prison.

Liberals have no such compunction.

The FBI started their investigation before Meuller. They started it in July 2016. So, we have had 2 years and 9 months (almost 3 years) and no collusion except on the Demoncrat side.

When a criminal has a low to zero change of paying penalty, they are not going to stop or change their ways. They are going to keep breaking the law and that is exactly what Democrats are doing.

Time to prosecute the Democrats for their multitudinous crimes.

"These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative"

There are two, count them, the media sources for this post. They are "The Washington Examiner" and "The Guardian".

I don't expect your average Democrat voter to be very good at mathematics, so I'll do the math for them.

One source is conservative and one (1) source is liberal.

One divided by two is 0.5 or 50%. Fifty Percent (50%) is even-steven. Maybe someone we all know and avoid could talk to their accountant and ask them, if this 50/50?

For the sake of argument we'll say "The Washington Examiner" is conservative.

What about The Guardian?

That is a poser, a big unknown.

What does Wikipedia say?

"The paper's readership is generally on the mainstream left of British political opinion, and its reputation as a platform for liberal and left-wing editorial"

I think arch-liberal or wingnut editorial would be closer to the truth.

After we all see how bogus it was, you will scamper from one rock Exhibit A) that you were hiding under to another rock.

What spying?

CNNs anchors got into every guests face for two weeks when the story first broke over a year ago and they shrieked into everyone's face that this WAS NOT SPYING!!!

They shouted and screamed at any guest suggesting there was spying, trying to shame guests into submission in front of cameras.

The very same cnn people who during Kavanaugh tried to smear a family man - in front of his family - as a gang rapist and ignored all evidence substantiating his innocence. They believed her. Not evidence. Evidence is so 2017, Bro. We are CNN. we tell you what you have to think.

Spying wasn't spying. Mobs were not mobs. And we don't take money from foreign adversaries to tear this nation apart for "journalism". We are CNN. The lowest ranked tv show on air, but there's enough dumb people still to repeat whatever we say so it works. Kind of.

Zucker for prison 2020.
That's what's up.

I prefer the NYT and the Boston Globe. They are full of liberals, who are given a byline based not on education of appropriate work experience, but because they are devout liberals, who are willing to do anything to anybody for the cause. They are good little storm troopers.

You get such uncouth people writing for the rags formerly known as the Boston Globe and NYT like Luke O’Neil.

Cool Loogie Luke must be quite the subject matter expert?

Why do liberals consider it cool to spit in people's food?

Why do liberals spit on people or in their food in the age of HIV or other infectious diseases?

Why are liberals such mean, disgusting Neanderthals?

Why do liberals consider it people to yell at people in restaurants?

".even Barr said I HAVE NO EVIDENCE...BUTY[sic] YOU IN YOUR WISDOM KNOW FOR SURE? "

And the FISA warrants were for?

If I ask an LEO to run a license plate for no good reason, that would be spying.

If I ask a LEO to run plates for someone who engaged in road rage, the LEO will ask me to sign a statement and go on the record.

Databases used to run background checks based off of a license plate have been misused. To prevent it and to keep from getting sued out of existence police have to record the reason why they run a tag. Maybe you don;t know this because you are a Russian troll and don't live in a place with such laws/controls.

With those controls in place, some police periodically misude police power, commit crime, and go to jail.

Like here:

Cleveland Police Officer Contacted 2,300 Women Using Work Computer, Authorities Say - NYT (so that's gospel)

The FISA warrants will be released to the public. Lisa Page, Peter Stroke, the FISA judge and others will be indicted, prosecuted, convicted and imprisoned just like Michael Rybarczyk.

In the meantime we will watch you squirm, shout and protest way too much.

Nice scam huh? The FBI/CIA sends one of their 'shady' assets to make contact with a to-some-extent member of the Trump team, and then runs to a FISA judge and says "look, look, Trump's people talking to the Russians!"

That's how you end up with electronic surveillance of the entire Donald Trump campaign.

If President Trump does exactly to his Dem opponent as Obama did to him, starting in early 2020, he would be impeached, removed from office by Congress, then face federal charges sometime in 2021.

What is clear is Obama most likely ran the most corrupt administration in our nations history and committed high crimes and misdemeanors . I dislike both parties but I really dislike thug's in power.

The FISA warrants were obtained by a false op-research dossier detailing Moscow prostitutes urinating on a bed with Trump in it.

And we are to believe that a secret court believed this yarn and issued warrants based on that. /Right. There's not a doubt in my mind that these judges were willing dupes in this conspiracy.

This FISA COurt needs to be dismantled and the judges need to be identified and held accountable.

NETFLIX

"No, the claims aren’t accurate. Netflix paid more than $130 million in taxes in 2018, which was roughly 15 percent of their income.

That money was spent on “foreign” taxes and since the U.S. gives credits on international taxes, Netflix actually had credits in U.S. federal and state taxes.

Put simply, Netflix paid more than $130 million in taxes, but they weren’t to the U.S. government. "

This tax credit was in American law for decades. It may even go back to the 1960s or beyond. So how a codger lived all that time and never noticed. Maybe he was visiting too many cathouses and did have the time to notice. I knew about it in middle school, so I am confused as to how codger didn't know about it.

In fact, between October 2016 and February 2019, 43 percent of foreigners convicted of U.S. crimes came through the northern border, while just 15 percent entered through the southern border. The other 42 percent gained entry at ports and airports.

So once again we can come to the reasonable conclusion that Trump’s border wall and Trump’s threat to shut down the southern border actually have nothing to do with his supposed goal of nabbing criminals and making the U.S. more safe. If that were the case, he would focus more of his resources and attention elsewhere.

So if you surround yourself with dubious characters, then your business is being listened to. If your potentially trying to become part of the US government and doing this the intelligence agencies have a duty to determine if you or your dubious characters are working, being influenced or blackmailed, or being knowingly or unknowingly recruited by Russians. Or any other government. Trump has surrounded himself with people closely connected to the Russian government, criminals, opportunist, and in many cases people who just aren't very smart. Russia will take advantage of this situation, and did. That was some great freaking treatment she got. She is just rolling in the money.

Americans fighting among themselves. Clearly the political/governmental strategy of "divide and conquer" is alive and well in America.

It is a strategy that has enabled the election of a list of Presidents having ever diminishing intelligence and integrity for the sole benefit of the very wealthy.

If he knows there is nothing in the report Barr could stop the speculation that is dividing the country by releasing an unredacted Mueller report. He won't of course because:

a) the report is very incriminating and that incrimination is likely not limited to Trump alone;
B) it would put the issue to rest but he is party to the divide and conquer strategy;
C) he is still wrestling with the big words.

Howard Zinn's quote is very appropriate even today.

“The American system is the most ingenious system of control in world history. With a country so rich in natural resources, talent, and labor power the system can afford to distribute just enough wealth to just enough people to limit discontent to a troublesome minority. It is a country so powerful, so big, so pleasing to so many of its citizens that it can afford to give freedom of dissent to the small number who are not pleased. There is no system of control with more openings, apertures, leeways, flexibilities, rewards for the chosen, winning tickets in lotteries. There is none that disperses its controls more complexly through the voting system, the work situation, the church, the family, the school, the mass media--none more successful in mollifying opposition with reforms, isolating people from one another, creating patriotic loyalty.”
― Howard Zinn, A People's History of the United States

I would add to "It is a country so powerful, so big, so pleasing to so many of its citizens that it can afford to give freedom of dissent to the small number who are not pleased."

That "small number who are not pleased" is growing and very quickly. That means that it won't take long to bring to life in America the story "Hunger Games".

Wow. Bob Huntley's personal invective toward Trump and the US in general is leaving his keypad spit-soaked. That he quotes Haowrd Zinn should tell you all you need to know. Bob's over the top cynical ramblings miss the mark completely. Ignorant as Hell, malignant wishful thinking. His social constructs are idiotic and not worth arguing. Suffice to say he reads too much Zinn, gets news from The Guardian and watches too much BBC.

But to his Barr remarks:
Dems want the unredacted report solely to begin persecutions of individuals interviewed but not indicted. To smear and harass innocent people because they're insane with rage at Trump. To be sure they destroy ANYONE who allied with Trump, worked with Trump or did any kind of business at all with Trump.

Barr, Mueller and Rosenstein are all in concert with these redactions. Dems are still howling about an unredacted copy.

Not gonna happen.

But don't worry, Bob. Your intrepid heroes, Schiff, Swalwell, and Nadler will manufacture plenty of false narratives to seed into Fake News.

/Talk about a "small number who are not pleased" - that's the Fake News viewership.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Now it is up to your subconscious mind to work on that common sense stuff you read so that you will wake up somewhat edified and ready to enter the realm of rational thinking.

Bob Huntley, the idea here is to buttress your argument. Not type out banal insults. You tend to type many words, yet say absolutely nothing.

Own your statements and make bold predictions. I do. We now know you're a proud socialist. Defend it. Call in success to your point of view. Call out folks and hold them to their positions. I do. It would be much netter than the meandering, sanctimony you currently engage in.

You argue like a child.

You should read your own response to mine. Insult and speculation. You argue as if you are an Anonymous. Are you one of them?
