The aspect of this situation of people risking all that is most bothersome to me is in reality I'm inclined to feel these are the dynamic ones of any particular country and here it is they have to leave their country to make something of their life. They would be the ones hustling for work and or to start their own business. They didn't come here for a handout. They came to escape the bums that run and drain their homelands dry.

A return to old methods of dealing with pointless and disruptive riots would be refreshing.
Lots of batons, lots of rioters with broken bones and the message conveyed is “don’t do that “.

I tend to agree. We're the lucky ones born in western countries. we have no idea just how fing terrible life over there can be, the things you have to do to just stay alive. And sooner or later we have to address borders and humanity. We can't have a few million living a life worth living - and the other few billion share the scraps while watching the 1% on TV showing off their yachts. It's neither right nor efficient nor sustainable. A billionaire isn't a million times smarter than a super market employee. Yet we act as if they are,we're all at fault. We equate money with intelligence almost 1:1. Or success in life and money 1:1. That's a lie too, perhaps the greatest of all, but if you tell people that on TV "you've either got money or you're nobody" then sooner or later people will try to get that money at all costs - and we'll be responsible too. We accept / allow this system to go on, distorting our values and putting money over everything. And you can't ask men to go back to countries where they will be nothing - dead. They will rather die here fighting for what they think is a right cause and many agree

What's pointless about a demonstration reminding us about humanity and the conditions other people live in? Wtf dude.. when you ever have to try the other side, remember how little you knew

Anon, the other side are brutal, murderous, age old values at odds with Christian, Republican ideals. Those people care little about life.
Put the batons to them. Deport them to the failed states they created and lived in for the past 200 years. WTF wrong with you?
