Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for the nation to embark on a new Long March and “start all over again”, in the most dramatic sign to date that Beijing has given up hope of reaching a trade deal with the United States in the near term.

since the escalation of the trade war two weeks ago. Jiangxi is where China’s defeated Red Army started its famous Long March in 1934, and Xi’s choice of destination is being viewed as an effort to invoke a spirit of endurance and to rally public spirit amid rising tensions with Washington.

The only way this could go is a economic and social divorce between China and the USA.
China has crossed too many lines with the USA, there is no reasoning with their ambitions. Our schools are flooded with students who moon light as junior espionage agents. Same goes for our high tech companies and labs. China's social credit scoring system is designed to ensure the huge Chinese diaspora worldwide is properly encentivized to cooperate with China's espionage needs so that relatives in China keep a good score. China's military buildup, in peacetime, is historic in world history.
China's secrecy and unwillingness to be bound by nuclear arms control is a threat to the world. Its economic piracy is unlimited. Its bribery of US leaders is boundless and started with Bill Clinton around 1996 via Johnny Chung and his under oath testimony of being a Chinese govt bagman to the Clinton re-election campaign.

So a divorce between the USA and China is in the cards. Chinese students will cease coming to the USA, tourists will cease coming to the USA. Chinese investments will dry up, Chinese researchers will no longer be welcome. US investment in China will dry up.

Americans are the ones that have to realize and then believe what the Chinese are saying. They truly believe they rule all under heaven. That is their rightful place. You are at a huge disadvantage if you want to think otherwise.
